Our Board of Directors’ Meetings for the 2024-25 school year will be held on the dates below. The meetings are always open to the public. They are held at Lakeland Montessori, 1124 N. Lake Parker Avenue, Lakeland, FL, unless otherwise noted.

Board Policy for Public Input:
The Lakeland Montessori’s Governing Board follows the same policy as the Polk County Public Schools Governing Board’s policy for public participation at board meetings. The policy can be located at this link: policy 0169.1 Public Participation at Board Meetings.
For those that come to a board meeting and would like to participate, there will be a sign-up sheet in the meeting room.
The Lakeland Montessori Governing Board has adopted the parent concern process here: Parent Concern Process Flow Chart. The Governing Board is a policy board and does not resolve disputes between between parents and the school. They have appointed Josie Hill as the parent representative. The representatives facilitate parent involvement, provide access to information, assist parents, and assist in resolving disputes.
